A pushy boss forces her young assistant to marry her in order to keep her Visa status in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada.
When high-powered book editor Margaret faces deportation to her native Canada, the quick-thinking exec declares that she’s actually engaged to her unsuspecting put-upon assistant Andrew, who she’s tormented for years. He agrees to participate in the charade, but with a few conditions of his own.
Our Bold Prediction
Seems to me the show is a pretty good rip of “Guess Who”, which ripped off another film called ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner’. So, The Proposal is really just a rip, or a rip.. of a rip.
That being said, Bullock strips down to nothing in a few scenes and the women love Ryan Reynolds. A good date movie perhaps, so we hope its a good one.
