H2: Halloween 2

Rob Zombie takes another stab at recreating the classic Halloween movie this year. Although this is being dubbed as a remake, its more of a continuation of the story, after the first one stopped. We get to follow Michael Myers murderous rampage through the eyes of heroine Laurie Strode.

For fans of the original Halloween film, this is sort of intriguing yet sort of awkward. A lot of people have no idea of where Myers really came from, what his background was and why he became batshit insane. It appears this film doesn’t really clear that up, which bothers me. I mean, why is it that Michael Myers kills bitches and homies via Fist of the North Star without any hesitation? Is he superhuman? Is the prick dead or alive? Can he be killed?

To the younger readers out there, Laurie Stout was the sexy Jamie Lee Curtis, who starred in the 1978 original film. To you older movie fans who need a little girl education, Scout Taylor-Compton is playing the modern day version of Laurie Strode, and we approve.

H2 Release Date

August 2009, which makes me wonder why not make it Oct 31 2009? Shouldn’t Halloween be released near Oct 31?

Tyler Mane plays the new Michael Myers, an actor you probably have never heard of, but we bet you’ll remember him from the characters he has played over the years. Who was he? How about “Ajax” from the movie Troy, and my personal favorite ” Sabretooth” from the X-Men movies.
