Bomorrah is a story on the modern day mafia in Italy. Roberto Saviano , the writer, is under 24hr protectoin from the mob, after this movie hit a little too close with the mafia.

“Gomorra” is a contemporary Neapolitan mob drama that exposes Italy’s criminal underbelly by telling five stories of individuals who think they can make their own compact with Camorra, the area’s Mafia.
The award winning film doesn’t have a lot of buzz about its release, but it should. The film is a brilliant look at organized crime, and how it affects modern day Italians and Italy.
Release Date
February 13th 2009 on a limited release. You’ll have to look hard to find it, but you’ll be glad you did.
