I’m really looking forward to this animation, by Imagi Studios, for Astro Boy. Astro Boy, if you don’t already know, is sort of a cult classic cartoon, that was made popular in the 60′s. Astro Boy is a cartoon series set in a futuristic world, wherein androids co-exist with humans.

Astro Boy The Scoop
Set in futuristic Metro City, AstroBoy is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist to replace the son he has lost. Unable to fulfill the grieving father’s expectations, our hero embarks on a journey in search of acceptance, experiencing betrayal and a netherworld of robot gladiators, before he returns to save Metro City and reconcile with the man who had rejected him.
The animation follows the adventures of a young robot who, in the hopes of winning his inventor-father’s heart, sets off on a quest to rid the world of evil. However, he soon discovers that his home, Metro City, stands on the brink of destruction, and it is up to him to save the day as well as his friends and family.
