With the ratings dropping for a wilderness-themed TV show, two animal fans go to the Andes in search of Bigfoot.

Strange Wilderness {In theaters Feb 1st 2008} is based on the theory that if you keep throwing Jonah Hill { Superbad, Evan Almighty, Knocked Up, Accepted } into the plot, add another vaguely funny character, Steve Zahn {Sahara, National Security} and it will be a success.

This seems to be the formula thus far regarding any movie with Jonas Hill as a lead character, is this enough to carry Strange Wilderness? For added measures, the production team has added Robert Patrick, reunited old friend Justin Long { Walk Hard, Accepted }

Eye Candy : Strange Wilderness will, at least, feature a few gorgeous ladies in the movie. Ashley Scott { Walking Tall, The Kingdom, Jericho} Ayda Field {Studio 60, Back to You} and Krista Allen { Liar Liar, Paycheck, Anger Management }

I’m really curious about how this movie is going to come off. Adam Sandler’s company has produced it, so I expect the usual gags. I’m not sure if its enough to get me really excited, since I’ve seen all these before. Have a look at the trailer, you’ll see what I mean.

Will Strange Wilderness be an original comedy or a slightly less original version of Meatballs? Time will tell, please let me know if you see a screener of the film and have a review.
