Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet star in this Romance set in the 1950′s.
The Scoop
A young couple living in a Connecticut suburb during the mid-1950s struggle to come to terms with their personal problems while trying to raise their two children.
I’m a sucker for any movie with a 50′s theme. Ah the 50′s, a time when men were men and women had class. A time when respect meant something, pride was respected and well.. morals existed.
Anyways, Revolutionary road takes us along the journey of a young couple trying to cope with life in the 50′s. The struggles of raising a family and alcohol issues. Winslet and DiCaprio are reunited once again in a more serious Drama this time around. More serious than Titanic? Guess I really should reconsider my interpretation of the film.
Winslet is in desperate need of a change in life, so is Frank. April decides to move to France to live our her dream, while Frank tries to keep the life they have together.
Starring
Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Kathy Bates
Reminds me of
Titanic. Rose and Jack are back together, how could it not remind me of anything else?
