The Dark Knight is the newest addition to the Batman series and brings mega-stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman to the upcoming movie.

In this new telling of the Batman story, things get very mature. Gone are the horrible days of corny characters, lame one-liners and pathetic cameos. No Mr Freeze, no Penguin… just a dark story of Batman, made for adults. The Dark Knight is loaded with talent, and intends to be a new franchise of movies including a movie in 2012 called The Dark Knight Rises.
New faces include Heath Ledger (The Joker), Katie Holmes as Rackel Dawes plus many other fantastic actors.
Batman and James Gordon join forces with Gotham’s new District Attorney, Harvey Dent, to take on a psychotic bank robber known as The Joker, whilst other forces plot against them, and Joker’s crimes grow more and more deadly.

The Good
An adult twist on a wonderful character, plus Christian Bale is amazing.
The Bad
Looks like Bale’s voice for Batman could get irritating.
I’ll post some more trailers from the movie soon, this is going to be the best Batman yet.
Anthony Michael Hall and Heath Ledger in the same movie? You sure this isn’t Brokeback Mountain 2?
Ledger looks right at home in all that makeup.
