I ended up really enjoying this one, but I'm not surprised since I'm a sucker for this type of action movie or any type of "doomsday"/dystopian/post-apocalyptic type of film. The climax was totally reminiscent of Mad Max. I thought that Sol's gang of marauders was goofy as hell even though they seemed to be going for amoral scary mofos so I really appreciated that they balanced it out with Rhona Mitra's character who was a cool & collected badass. It's great seeing a woman playing lead in thsi type of movie. This is definitely a fun popcorn flick! Thanks again for the dvd.
